In my experience, it can take some time to recognise the information which relates to your address. At first, the search may produce what appear to be dead ends or gaps. Some addresses can be very difficult to find in Census records without a surname, especially if the road name is common. I usually suggest that roughly two days of searching and then writing the report [Standard] is a good compromise between cost and the amount of information found - but for some addresses a shorter time might be adequate. The In-depth option allows for much more probing - vital for some addresses, less obviously necessary elsewhere.

In a digital report, the results of the research are arranged chronologically with any illustrations which complement the findings. These may be map extracts, air photos, images of people, old photos of the address. As a business, I have to pay for most map information and there are often reproduction charges for maps and other images. I have tried to include the most common cost in my listed prices, but where an exceptional payment might occur I would check with you before incurring it.
